Amazon Moves to Monthly Payments

All I can say is, IT IS ABOUT TIME. Thank you for moving into the future Amazon.

Amazon Associates payments will officially be monthly instead of quarterly as of January 1, 2007. Resellers will get paid approximately 60 days after the end of each month. For example, referral fees you earn in January will be paid at the end of March, and payment of referral fees earned in February will be paid at the end of April. As part of this change, referral fee tiers will be adjusted to reflect monthly instead of quarterly item quantities:

In order to receive the higher tier percentage referral fees resellers must change their fee structure from the "Classic Payment" plan here.

Amazon is also extending the Gift Certificates referral fees through March 31, 2007. For more information check out the information page on Associates Central.

Finally, effective January 1, 2007 Amazon is increasing the check processing free for US based Associates from $8 to $15. The minimum check amout will remain at $100.
